1111 Third

Experience Design

The challenge for Talon’s 1111 Third tower in Downtown Seattle was outwardly being a modest, middle-aged tower amidst taller, newer and more provocative structures. So we partnered with Talon to impress prospective buyers with the flexibility of the interior spaces, which included the ability to greatly modify spaces to their needs and tastes. Conceptually, the idea was that of an empty box, and what tenants could do with it to unleash their potential. We took this idea and ran with it.

Renew

Our experience occupied an entire floor at 1111. The experience center was placed between two radically different model office designs, one modern “startup” and one traditional, to emphasize the range of styles tenants could choose from. We built our narrative around the idea of renovation and rebirth. Language like “Refresh” “Rethink” and “Reinvent” punctuated waypoints in the experience on displays, walls and suspended speech balloons.

Take a hike

A giant floor map graphic became a simple yet powerful tool to demonstrate 1111’s central location, accessibility and the variety of amenities surrounding the property. Visitors could “walk through” the neighborhood and visualize it at a glance.
