Packaging Design
As a much-loved purveyor of high quality, humanely raised animal-based foods, Epic Provisions experienced a rapid expansion of their portfolio in recent years. Their bone broths needed an update that created a spicier shelf impact, while visually linking to their other products. A dash of key benefits were also needed to distinguish them from the competition. The results were savory and delectable.

Stir it up, boil it down
Epic’s dilemma was twofold: Needing to create greater impact on its respective broth and soup shelf, while also tying back more clearly to the Epic portfolio. As with all packaging projects, we created shelf sets, competitive lineups and portfolio lineups to be sure that whatever the idea, we stayed on the rails.
The selected direction bridged the gap between their core snack packaging and the soups and broths category. A tinted-back animal illustration serves as a textural hint to the source, while allowing the distinctive typography of the brand, product and claims to come forward.
