Brand Identity, Visual Brand Language
Port Blakely is the forestry company of tomorrow. With a mindset of stewardship, they are in business to build long-term sustainability into their forests, industry and legislation. To reflect this optimism and determination, Port Blakely engaged us to conduct brand workshops, develop a new visual brand language and guidelines.

I designed the Port Blakely logo to represent a vista of ground, trees, water and air. Reinforcing a philosophy of taking the long-term view, it echoes Port Blakely’s brand promise of Tomorrow Comes First.

Passing the Torch
We worked directly with the small in-house team at Port Blakely to provide them the tools to maintain and evolve their new brand with confidence and consistency. They’ve since extended to a website, signage and a myriad of print and digital pieces.
Equipped with the new visual identity and having attended in-person workshops, Port Blakely’s internal team reimagined their website as a powerful brand expression.
